The Last match
David Schitter, who is a member of the Kuš! Baltic comics magazine invited me to join the exhibition of the last match. To encourage me he sent some pretty nice stuff, including an issue of Kuš. The task was to draw a little picture which is connected to the theme "the last match".This is the paper I have to draw on:

Mime ACT-more coloring previews
I'm currently half way through the coloring process of Mime act, here are some pictures. I erased the text from the balloons but the thing will be completely hand lettered.

The first preview page of my graphic novel-MIME ACT, more to come...The stuff I always hated to do, was the coloring. That's why my colors are so simple, and easy to do. This of course does not spare me all the time because I'm not even half way through the 100 pages. The other thing is that most of the drawings were done years ago when I was about 16-17 , so these are not as good as I could do them now, but I think it may be interesting to follow how the drawings gets better as the story moves forward... (Still I had to redraw some parts...not this one)

Mime-Act in progress
Here are some pieces of my work on the comic I mentioned, I just finished inking and lettering the pages, now I just have to color and make the fake covers for every part of the story. For me, making the covers is a much harder process than doing a comic because while in one comic page you have several drawings that can capture the viewers attention, at a cover you have to make it as one great panel that really is good to be watching.

MIME ACT-My First graphic novel on it's way
I'm currently working on my first full color graphic novel which will hopefully be published in Hungary this year. I started this project when I was about 15, but as time passed I started paying less and less attention to it. Now I'm back working with full power on redrawing some of the early stuff and correcting the dialogues at some points. I'll post more shit soon... until than: some studio shots...

I dunno maybe I like them thatat much! I started to color the sketch with my wacom tablet, but I lost interest since it didn't look good without the original line drawing in front of it.

As a little kid I was a big fan of the turtles, I dunno why I but I drew them all the time and asked my father to read the TMNT comics for me (I couldn't read back then) I watched all the movies and toons that I could find on television. But as I got out of kindergarten I was interested no more. I thought maybe if I do a quick pencil drawing I'd remember the turtle wibe, and yeah you know what? I still love them! Maybe I'll ink and color it later on, but I'm not sure I like them THAT much :D

I'm on Lambiek.net! And the weird thing is that I didn't even write them any letter to put me up there! But that's not the whole story, because some other Hungarian cartoonists were also submitted in this online encylopedia. Good for us, I guess...

I tried to paint my girlfriend with the wacom tablet again. Well it could be much better but atleast the second looks like her a little bit.
A short comic for fathers and sons
This is the one I was going to post but I was to lazy to translate it because of the lame story and primitive dialogs that I made for it. I did this piece for a school task.You may have seen the characters from previous posts. In this comic the eighties geek boy meets the weird old man who happens to be his own dad. I wanted to mix the styles. The father represents this dark, film noir-like world, while this boy is is pretty much his opposite with the bright colours. At the end their worlds became one.
