CLEAN MAN

I did this comic for a German cleaning company.
If you like it and live in Düsseldorf, give 'em a call they might save you from some serious dust monsters :)

Back To The Future

I did another comic / movie mashup poster. This time adapted the legendary Wally Wood's EC Incredible Science Fiction cover mashing it up with the classic 1985 movie, Back To The Future. What was the point? When Marty goes back to 1955 and lands in the barn of a family, be see a fake comic cover, that gives the feel of a vintage Ec comic. So I figured Heck, I want to do something like that. So I looked up some of the classic titles published in 1955 and adapted it to the theme of the film. That's about it.

Prints available of course :)

More comics about customs. It's in Hungarian but the story isn't too interesting, it's about the EU
and permissions of selling our shit elsewhere or buying shit from china or from usa. How we can do that etc... Anyway I had pretty good time doing these comics, and the company is pretty pleased with them so I hope we'll keep on working together for a while. It's a good job to pay the monthly comics and drinks and stuff:)

stuff I get payed for

I did a comic for a Hungarian company. It's about customs and all sorts of funny stuff...
I didn't put up any speech bubbles, the text isn't that interesting. I drew it by hand but a lot of changes had been made with the wacom tablet as well as the coloring.

page 1 colored

I thought I should publish the totally finished first page here. Hope you dig it!

Pedophile self portrait for Jacko's death anniversary

Sorry, that wasn't very nice of me, actually it's made for a self portrait exhibition we are putting together with some friends of mine.

paraphrasis

This is Caravaggio's Entombment

And these are my versions:

Some John Byrne, Mark Silvestri and Sal Buscema
but it's mainly the impact of marvel comics published in the mid 90's Hungary...

100% Spiegelman rip-off, By the way I did this with the tablet.

Schulz had enough characters in his peanuts series to make me able to pull this off.

So why the hell am I doing this? I'll tell you later, and take a nap first!

Mime ACT-more coloring previews

I'm currently half way through the coloring process of Mime act, here are some pictures. I erased the text from the balloons but the thing will be completely hand lettered.

Coloring MIME ACT-first preview page!

The first preview page of my graphic novel-MIME ACT, more to come...

The stuff I always hated to do, was the coloring. That's why my colors are so simple, and easy to do. This of course does not spare me all the time because I'm not even half way through the 100 pages. The other thing is that most of the drawings were done years ago when I was about 16-17 , so these are not as good as I could do them now, but I think it may be interesting to follow how the drawings gets better as the story moves forward... (Still I had to redraw some parts...not this one)

stay tuned!

TMNT fun 2

I dunno maybe I like them thatat much! I started to color the sketch with my wacom tablet, but I lost interest since it didn't look good without the original line drawing in front of it.

another wacom piece

I tried to paint my girlfriend with the wacom tablet again. Well it could be much better but atleast the second looks like her a little bit.

The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish

Here are pieces of my work for the cartoon design course. The task was to create visuals for a fictional upcoming 10 to 20 minute cartoon based on a fairy or folktale. The story I choose was The tale of the fisherman and the fish. This was written by the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.

According to the tale a poor old couple live by the sea and the husband who is a fisherman goes out and catches a golden fish by accident. The fish promises to fulfill the old mans wishes if he let's go. But when the fishers wife hears that they can wish anything she wants everything...

The cover page clearly shows how many designs the fish went through.

The backgrounds were pretty hard to come up with. Mainly because
I didn't have a clue how to draw one (I'm better in drawing characters)

Some early sketches for the fisherman and his wife (the clowns staring at you kids)
Some finished designs for the main characters. The woman has 3 kinds of clothes for the three kind of homes.
One for the mobile home, one for the luxury mobile home and one for the skyscraper
...

This second home is pretty much a mash of a boat and a train...and maybe a tank.

And the skyscraper which might be a giant robot.

Wacom

I did a pretty bad drawing about my girlfriend with my Wacom tablet.
